Don't Know What a Windows Registry Scan Is? Neither Did I

When my brother gave me my first computer to say that I was a novice would have been a gross understatement. All I knew how to do was turning it on and access the word processing program I used. I had never heard of windows registry much less a windows registry scan. Once I connected to the Internet I noticed my computer started slowing down. I thought it was just those tracking cookies I kept hearing about. So I got a program that would get rid of them. It only solved part of my problem so I again started seeing problems developing on my computer.

I called my brother for some advice and he came over. He ran a windows registry scan and like magic my computer got better. I asked him what the registry was and he said it was kind of like the managing super visor of the windows operating system. He said it kept track of all the things I do on the computer. He tried to go in to some heavey details of how it worked but that was just over my head.

He told me that the reason my computer was slowing down and starting to develop problems was because the registry could get corrupted or keep useless information and thus the rest of the operating system would start slowing down.

He told me that the windows registry scan software he was using to clean up my registry used to be one of the tech repair guys secret weapons. They always knew about the registry getting over loaded and corrupted and they had this expensive software that could clean it up.

Luck of the non-techie computer user this software did not stay expensive, and only available to those that repaired computers. You can get windows registry scan software fairly inexpensive these days. You don't even have to know much about how it works or exactly what it does. All you have to do in install it and run it on a regular basis. The windows registry scan program does all the work. It gets rid of unused pathways and cleans up a bunch of other things in the registry.

I suggest that if you have a computer that you connect to the Internet that you quickly get a windows registry scan program and set the schedule to run on a regular schedule. It will keep your computer running smoothly and give you one less thing to worry about.
